Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944) was a French writer, aviator, adventurer, poet and author, whose love of flying influenced many of his works. He is best known for his story 'Le Petit Prince' ('The Little Prince') published in 1943, 'Wind, Sand and Stars' (1939), 'Southern Mail' (1929), 'Flight to Arras' (1942), 'Letter to a Hostage' (1942), and 'Night Flight' (1931).
